« BINARY AUDIO MISFITS » is the fruit of a musical meeting on My Space between two highly original genres from different worlds: the French rock group Expérience (founded in Toulouse, 2000) and the Texan rap collectiveThe Word Association (founded in San Marcos, USA, 2002).
Fall 2007, after discovering them on myspace, the French invite the Americans to sing on one of their tracks and the result is so exciting that they decide to continue the collaboration. After an exchange of audio files over the Internet, they finally meet late 2007 during the recording of Expérience’s fourth album at Steve Albini’s Electrical Studio, Chicago.
During one year, they continue to write songs over the internet.
In the beginning of 2009, the french venue La Cartonnerie, in Reims, invites them for a residency and a gig. This is the beginning of the BAM project LIVE.
