SWEAT LIKE AN APE ! réunit Sol Hess, Pierre Guignard, Oscar Galea et Jérôme d'Aviau dans un groupe où la tension punk et la danse sont à l'honneur. Mêlant post-punk, couleurs afro et disco, leurs concerts se terminent systématiquement en sueur, sur scène et dans le public. Leur premier album, Sixty Sinking Sailing Ships est sorti en Février 2015, et alors qu'ils préparent le répertoire du second, ils viennent fêter la sortie de leur tout nouveau 45 tours, toujours chez Platinum Records.

Sweat Like An Ape! - High Moon
Sweat Like An Ape ! hails from Bordeaux, France and is composed of british singer/guitarist Sol Hess, guitarist Pierre Guignard, bass player Arnaud Pierret, and drummer Jérôme D'Aviau. Their music evolves in that special place where the urgency of punk and the sparkle of pop and dance music cross paths. Although new-wave and post-punk influences are unquestionable, these four boys like to mingle with all kinds of groove, be it that of the nigerian king Sir Victor Uwaifo, or the funk-punk of James Chance.
As well as having considerable experience with bands past and present, the members of the band also excel in other domains such as those of graphic novels, visual arts, video-work and script-writing and thus enjoy injecting a sense of intrigue and mystery into their repertoire. In an avalanche of frenetic piercing guitar riffs and intense grooves, their live shows indisputably live up to the bands name.
A year after being formed, Sweat Like An Ape !'s first album, Sixty Sinking Sailing Ships will be released in the beginning of February 2015 on Platinum Records
